Small to medium shrub native to Ecuador. Large lobed eaves on mature plants are 2 to 2.5 ft. long. Thrives in slightly acidic soil high in organic matter. A general purpose fertilizer with micronutrients is recommended. Growth rates are moderate. Due to its equatorial distribution, I don't expect much cold tolerance. Outdoors in Zones 10b and 11.
