Common Name: Puakenikeni. Widely cultivated throughout the tropical Pacific islands for its fragrant white tubular flowers. Thick deep green leaves. Grows best in full sun. Tropical humid conditions are required. Small to medium tree. It can be maintained in a container.Fertilize several times per year with a general purpose fertilizer such as 10-10-10. Outdoors in Zone 10B or 11. I don't expect this plant to tolerate cool weather.
