Very limited supply this year. Large tropical clumping species native to Tibet and Yunnan Province. Reaches up to 80 ft. tall and 8 inches in diameter. Large broad leaves 12 X 5 inches. Culms are dark green in young plants. Since this is a new generation it may take several years to get a 100% accurate identification. This species is reported to tolerate cooler growing conditions than most Dendrocalamus species. However, I doubt that it will take much frost. Zones 9b to 11. May require protection in Zone 9B during some winters. We will have to trim the culms back to fit in the box to ship. #2 nursery pots are 10 inches in diameter. Be ready to move into a 14 inch pot or plant in the ground. Shipping weight is 8 pounds.
