Medium sized tree with glossy dark green leaves. These are seedlings from a dwarf tree with fruit that has no latex in the peel; much easier to clean the fruit. Fruit from the parent tree weigh about 10 to 18 pounds. If growing in a greenhouse, pruning will be required to maintain smaller size. Full sun. Use a well drained potting mix high in organic matter. If planting outdoors in the tropics, select a sunny spot that can accommodate a tree that will reach approximately 40 ft. tall. Fertilize several times a year with a general purpose garden soil. This species does not tolerate freezing temperatures. Outdoors in Zones 10 to 11.
